Melissa Coker founded Wren in 2007 after a decade in the fashion industry. Beginning as an intern at Helmut Lang,
she worked in editorial at W and Vogue before providing conceptual direction for Abercrombie & Fitch.
The Wren line is a study in contracts - at once easy and refined, classic yet whimsical. The Wren girl's style projects
the collection's sense of perfect imperfection: the elegant romantic with a tomboy's touch where hand-dyed embellished
t-shirts, silk dresses and vintage-inspired necklaces combine to create low-key sophistication.
Since debuting in 2007, Wren has been featured by T: NY Times Style Magazine, WWD (named "one to watch"), Elle, Nylon,
Marie Claire, Lucky, Daily Candy, Teen Vogue, style.com (named top 10 new designers), V, Tokion, Paper, Apparel News, C,
refinery29, LA Times, Jalouse, 944, LA Confidential, and Grazia UK.
The entire first collection debuted exclusively at Opening Ceremony - one of today's most respected and influential
boutiques. Wren is now available at Barneys New York, Neiman Marcus, Opening Ceremony, Ron Herman and top specialty
stores worldwide.
Wren is based in Los Angeles.
